It's a little weird when the only pages that will open on this computer are livejournal pages... No google, no home page, no nothing. o_O Oddness.

Anyway! Joan and I woke up bright and early this morning for one reason or another (okay, not really that early. Eight a.m., I suppose) and quickly discovered that the Internet situation had not changed since the night before. Bah. Then Chaya called and she played with the fax machine and... well, all was fun and beepy for a little while. I'm not sure what we did to entertain ourselves between eight and nine o'clock, aside from stare at random things, but it all worked out. At nine, Joan called computer services and heard the voice mail. I called again at around nine-ten and reached Steve, who promised he would see what he could do.

At nine-twenty, the Internet came back up. ^.^ Oh, happy day!

It's raining outside, which is no biggie, and work is dull, per usual. I have an appointment for 11:30, though, and it's someone I've worked with before, so that's cool. ^_^ Then Japanese from twelve to one, Brit Lit from one to two, and MD History from two to three...

[livejournal.com profile] pereppi is due to come up today! She's supposed to be here... around eleven forty-five, I think? In any case, she'll be chilling for a while and coming to class, so she may see what College Life Is Like. (Capital letters to show I care. ^_~) It's not really all that impressive/important/different from high school, but I'm glad I'll be able to see her again, so I'm not about to complain. ^.^

Kyle, in case I don't talk to you again before you leave -- ride safely to Colorado, okay? I don't Kaitlin to have to tell me that you followed your father's footsteps and splattered yourself against a building or something! I don't know if the weather is nice down there or not, but please don't do anything stupid (for once). And wear a helmet for once in your life, goddamn it!

'nyway. I'm sure I'll see people or talk to people later on today. ^.^ For the time being, I need to refresh my memory on The Beggar's Opera. (It's written by John Gay, who writes fantastic mocks, so you'd think it would be somewhat amusing, but no~ooo...)
