My morning thus far:
02:00 a.m. - Joan and I go to bed.
09:00 a.m. - alarm goes off. I turn it off and return to my blanket cocoon.
09:30 a.m. - I look at the clock, note the time, then curl up again.
09:45 a.m. - I look blearily at the clock. realize I have to be at work in fifteen minutes.
09:50 a.m. - I finally get around to getting out of bed.
09:55 a.m. - I leave for work.
09:59 a.m. - I stop to hold a conversation with Nick.
10:05 a.m. - after that long walk and conversation, I finally show up to work. My student is there.
10:07 a.m. - I realize this is the student who is always asking me out.
10:13 a.m. - student asks me out for the first time.
10:25 a.m. - we get on a tanget about old-school computer games. He does not remember Troggle Trouble.
10:33 a.m. - student asks me out. Again.
10:40 a.m. - student asks me out a third time.
10:45 a.m. - student completely forgets about his paper and goes on to talk about Otakon orgies.
10:50 a.m. - I end the session and ask the student to fill out an evaluation.
10:55 a.m. - mystalker student leaves, but not without first inviting me to the movies tonight. I tell him I am busy.
11:02 a.m. - my next student arrives.
11:10 a.m. - my next student leaves.
11:12 a.m. - I turn in my time sheet and wonder why I bothered to come to work at all.
11:15 a.m. - I sit down and start writing this entry as I wait for something to happen.
Mmm. Fun times, yes?
