Booster to Endy!

I have known [livejournal.com profile] endaemion for longer than I've actually known her, apparently. ^_~ We met once upon a time in girl scouts (don't go into shock. Yes, we were both girl scouts) and neeeever talked to her again until high school, where I learned she was uber-cool and proceeded to stalk her. (Or something.)

Leilla is the person who got me into Gundam Wing. She is also the person who got me into Gravitation. And Fake. And Fruit's Basket. And Greenwood. And... Well, the majority of the anime that I'm into. ^^ I probably never would have written fan fiction if not for her, since Lissy's stuff tended to scare me. O_O And then, of course, there's Storm Constantine and Poppy Z. Brite, who I never would have read if she hadn't let me borrow the books!

Aside from introducing me to most of my fandoms and forcing me into fanfiction (^_~), Leilla is the shiznit. She's a fantastic writer, a very talented artist (with all mediums, so far as I've seen), and really just a super person. She has a tendency to call me at weird times (y'know, like when I'm sleeping or not there?), but that's okay. When we do end up talking, I always leave the conversation grinning and giggling my head away. My dad doesn't like her much. My dad can go stuff it.

When I first started to fence, I didn't want to do it alone, and Leilla was the one who signed up to take lessons with me. ^_^ She decided it wasn't for her later on, leaving me to my doom, but I probably wouldn't have gone to Slayton House for that first lesson if she hadn't been there. ^^ (I'm not a chicken. I'm just stupid.)

The penguins in my mood theme? She threw me links and kept badgering me to change the mood theme until I finally got off my lazy ass and did it. And it t'was a good idea. Sure, there's no angry-looking penguin, but no one loves an angry penguin anyway. Leilla also started [livejournal.com profile] kinky_pinkers, the Truth or Dare community, and she's co-creating the web-comic Swizzle Stick (although she hasn't given me any new pages *shakes fist*)!

Endy wrote a Gravitation m-preg story simply because I made the off-hand comment that I'd never seen one with Yuki (or any Gravi character, really) in it. She freaked me out with that plus-sign thing over at Gurabite but then had the awesome idea of co-writing a story. That's going well and everyone involved is really enjoying it, even if it sometimes hard to make daily updates. ^^

Creative, funny, talented... Really, there's nothing not to like about Leilla. And I could say so much more about her... but then the penguins would get jealous. ^_~
