Things I did today instead of writing my NaNoWriMo novel:
  • Slept until eleven-thirty
  • Called my mother -- twice!
  • Ate cake unnecessarily
  • Watched free movies on Comcast On Demand
  • Checked my email several times
  • Painted my nails
  • Took a nap
  • Took another nap
  • Checked (and answered) my work email
  • Watched back-to-back-to-back reruns of The Nanny
