Hiro: don't worry, Shuichi! I'll find you a really nice rebound guy, okay? He'll be much better than Yuki!
Shuichi: ew, no, not a guy! I'm not gay, you know!
Hiro: but Yuki-san is a... *baffled* So you're bisexual, is that what you're telling me?
Shuichi: no! Do you know nothing about me, Hiro??? I'm Yuki-sexual!!!

On another note, Shuichi's eyebrows are most definitely pink. Thanks go out to shinataku02 and seijirou for finding me some decent pictures of these fuzzy itty bits. ^_^ Given my extensive manga knowledge (*hack cough* endaemion, I owe you one!), I have come to the conclusion that his natural hair color is indeed still a mystery. He begins the manga series with dark-reddish hair, but the hair goes from red to brown to purple to pink and back again... My theory?

I have decided that Shuichi was in science class one day back in the fourth grade where they were doing an experiment with some mysterious chemicals. Given that Hiro was absent at this time, there was no one there to keep Shuichi from messing it all up and making various things explode. And so various things exploded, one of which exploded into Shuichi's hair. He went home that day with a nastily itching scalp and woke up the next morning with rainbow colored hair. This hair can change colors according to his mood, sex drive, and sugar levels. No one has seen his natural hair color ever since.

Except for Yuki, who fucks the poor boy into oblivion practically every night.

I know, I know... It's rather unlikely, isn't it? Hm. Well, perhaps Hiro was there, but he was distracted by someone who was teasing him about his way-too-short hair-cut. That way the same chemicals that made Shuichi's hair into a make-shift moodring made Hiro's hair start growing really quickly until he invented a formula to make it stop growing. Of course, by this point his hair would be pretty long (much like it is now), but since the chemicals also made his hair super-super strong, it's impossible to cut. Thus Hiro will be the long-haired guitar bishie for years to come. ^_^
