Write 10 random facts about your character (any of your OCs)
I'll do Michael Meiji Yuy, from "Caught Between The Banister", simply because he's adorable. ^_^ Most of these facts never showed up in the story, but I either meant to put them in there or add them to a side-story I was writing, once upon a time...
1: He shares my birthday--December 10.
2: He really likes waffles. As in, he would gladly buy you bubble gum if you made some for him. (To be honest, he just really likes the idea of eating sugar for breakfast, since his father doesn't let him. ^_~ He has an insatiable sweet-tooth.)
3: Stacey, Michael's mother, is a diagnosed schizophrenic. She thought he was the next Messiah, and attacked Heero, Mike's father, because she was convinced that Heero was going to prevent Mike from achieving enlightenment or whatever. Stacey was convicted, Heero divorced her, and Michael grew up alone with his daddy.
4: At the age of five, Michael played a huge hand in setting his father up with Duo Maxwell, former best friend, lover, and arch-rival.
5: His make-shift family (Heero, Duo, and himself) moved from their colony to Earth soon after Michael turned six.
6: Mike got a dog when he was eleven, after bugging his parents about it for years and years and years--and after they started seeing a couple's counselor, who suggested they give Mike some companionship. ^_~ He named the dog, which was a black lab, James, but later learned that his lab was a girl, so she was renamed Jessica.
7: Mike has an awesome toy car collection. His favorite are the fire-truck and the ambulance.
8: He doesn't like milk, even if it has chocolate in it. If he's allowed to dunk cookies in the milk (which is something only Duo let's him do), however, he'll drink gallons of the stuff.
9: Mike's favorite colour is purple. Or at least it used to be, until Sterling (Wufei's daughter) pointed out that it was a girly colour (he was nine at the time. She was four). He immediately changed his favorite colour to green, but he still loves the colour purple. Yes indeed. He tried to convince his dad to let him dye his hair a dark purple, but Heero refused. (Duo was all for it. When Heero left town, Duo bought some grape kool-aid and helped Mike do a temporary dye.)
10: While the idea of his father and "Uncle" Duo having sex doesn't bother him in the least, he's surprisingly homophobic. He didn't used to be, but those damn Earth schools turned his coattails. *rawr*

I actually was going to write a sequel for the kid. Well, he would be a teenager for the story, but nonetheless... I figured, a little tale, from his point of view, shortly after he entered high school. Could be cute. I actually have little scenes typed up on my harddrive. ^^ I just never got around to actually putting them together or writing a beginning.
What do you think? Once I've finished my current WIPs, should I try my hand at a Banister sequel?

Oooh!
*melts*
you should! you should! *^__^*
that would be great, nu
*searches for the encouragement flag*

You really think it would be a good idea? Not too much time has passed since I finished the original story, has it? Would anyone actually remember the story and my wittul chawacters?

and OCs reflecting on things to do with canon characters are always good/wanted/lusted after ^_~ (probably because we're all voyeurs)
^____^
people will remember *nodnod*

My only problem with doing a sequel to Banister is that (1) since I've been writing scenes from Mike's POV, it has to be about him, too, and not just the canon stories, (2) I don't want it to be too long, because then I may never get around to finishing it, and (3) other than the scenes I've already written out, I have no plot. Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated.

I'll help you in any way I can ^_^
which doesn't say much, since my muse is running dry as well XD - but still... if you need someone to toss ideas around with, chat me up, alright? I'll do my best to help get your muses in gear ^_~

Don't get too excited! There's still two WIPs I have to finish, first, so it could be a while before I actually get around to playing connect the dots. But making up scenes and plots and stuff will give me something to do at work today (there's a flood watch going on, and yet I'm still working? Weird), I guess. ^_^
I will definitely be tossing you ideas every now and then. Keep on the look out!

ideas! ^^
yep, am definitely looking forward to hearing from you *^__^*

I have some scenes written out, as I said. There's a bit where he's talking about the couples counselor his dad and Duo have been seeing, a mention of cross-dressing, a defeated date-asker-outer scene, and something where Heero goes on another business trip. I don't remember what the connection for all these was, really. -_-

... it would add realism, and shade ^^
someone helping Duo track down the missing G Boys: omg, Duo lost the address book again!
... hm...
*ponders*
will make the fangirls wonder why he doesn't hack himself into the gigantic database of omniescent information and does it himself, like he does in 98% of all other fanfics.
adds depth and shade as well ^_^
I can't decide either :p
-_-;
but... try to ask yourself more questions, or testwrite a convo? *guilty look*
you expected more help, nu? -_-;;;

Maybe I should just flip a coin, what do you think?

I'm going to do two out of three. Heads will be the doctor, tails will be the tracker (or something else. Whatever).
...heads.
...tails.
...heads.
Ladies and gents, we have ourselves a doctor!
