I'm doing beta-ing right now... Yay! Nothing like beta-ing before dinner... especially not when the story is seemingly very cool as of yet... Beta-ing, for all you ignorants, is a bit like editing. Really brutally honest editing.

Ouch... Think I did something to my wrist bowling this afternoon... Becca called around twelve (which forced me out of bed, so it was probably good that she did) and asked if I wanted to get a group together and go duckpin. Yay! Gotta love duckpin... Not many people could go, though, so it ended up just being me, Becca, Sarah, and Nami. It was still fun, and we got to include Nami in on it, which is great. She's really been keeping to herself since she got here from Japan in August... Nami's our current foreign exchange student, btw. I'm glad we could force her out of the house!

Becca and Nami kicked our poor little booties... We played three games, and every game brought the same results- Becca would get high score, Nami second highest, me third, and Sarah last. All in all, it was a lot of fun.

Whoops! Dinner time! It's not even spaghetti this time!

Ten dollar reward to whoever can find my CD case! I'm being deprived of my daily Aerosmith... How sad... Deprivation is no fun.

4-H was, as usual, a waste of time. I hate being the oldest member in the club... I'm always stuck with the "responsibility" things. Plus, since all the other members are a good three or more years younger than I am, with the exception of my brother, we never get to do anything fun. Today we did an activity that consisted of public speaking. We pulled a piece of paper out of a hat and attempted to talk about the topic written on it. All the kids sit there and actually read off the list, which has things written on it like "what's your favorite book?", "who wrote it?", "why do you like it?" and stuff like that. So all these little kids go "my favorite book is Green Eggs and Ham. The author is Doctor Seuss. I like it because it has green ham." And that's a direct quote, too!

Okay, so maybe it isn't. But you get the idea, right? Not that there's anything wrong with Mr. Seuss, but...

*sigh* I got some beta-ing done. That made me happy. Two lemons in a row! Any idea how confusing it is to beta two lemons one after the other this late at night? (I'm so tired...) You get to thinking "but didn't they already do that? I thought whats-his-face already said that!" Yeah, stuff like that. Oh well... I got it done, so I'm pretty much caught up. If my contact lenses weren't screwing up my eyeballs right now I'd probably go work on on of my own stories... I'm working on one called "Just Another Mission." It's going to be a Gundam Wing fan fic from Heero's pov. With any luck, it'll turn out okay. I only have a page and a half written; I want it to be about four pages long.

This spell check doesn't seem to like the word "okay." I don't understand why, but it has words like "Aka" and "Poky" written as corrections. Of course, it also thinks "Gundam" should be two words- "Gun dam." What are they trying to say? That the guns are being dammed up so the river of guns down by the Mississippi will stop overflowing? I just don't get it...
Yeah, this is my edit by the way. Spell check is so amusing...

Oh well.

Nighters!
