Chair placements tomorrow!
May. 30th, 2002 08:23 pmAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*clears throat* Well, now that I've gotten that out of my system, I suppose I should explain the reason for it, ne? It's easy enough...
Tomorrow Mr. E is holding chair placements for flutes and french horn, and I go at 8:10 in the morning. Which is no big deal; to my great surprise, I've found out that I play best in the morning, before I've really woken up. So that's fine. Playing in the morning is good. And I go after Cree, who play french horn, so I don't have to worry about being showed up by some other flautist, like Caitlin, or even Kim.
But I go right before Rachel, who sits only one chair behind me this year, and I haven't really practiced my pieces since I got them two weeks ago. Not to mention I've had one lesson with Mrs. Lindon (my private teacher), and we had to balance that out with Sentimental, the jazz piece I did for flute club last Sunday.
Gods, I'm complaining like mad... This isn't like me.
No, wait. It is. Damn.
Oh well. I'll play my scales no problem, per usual, somehow pull through my full range chromatic, attempt my Mozart Sonata and my selection from Patapan, and totally screw up with the rhythms and sight reading.
The usual. Except usually I've played my stuff more. -_-
Man, I wish I didn't have so much homework to do... Then I could go get some much-needed practice. For that and the piano contest I'm in tomorrow.
Blech. I have to dress up. And wear that crap to school.
Ew.
Maybe I can get off with a mild dressy-look.
