Yesterday was Stevie's and my sixth-month anniversary. Wow. Just... wow. I never thought I'd be in an actual relationship for that long. Ever. It goes against my whole "never date someone for longer than two months" policy. Which I sort of broke with the puppy dog last year, but he didn't count. He was just strange. And a stalker. 0_0
Which reminds me... Stevie came by the school yesterday afternoon, with roses. *hug* As Brenna and I left the school to get to my car, she said something about me having a stalker and all of a sudden my brain exploded. My only thought was "good gods, please don't tell me that the annoying puppy dog is back..." I was muchly pleased to find that it wasn't the puppy dog. ^_^
Um... We didn't get the chance to do anything happy or fun yesterday, though, because I had to get to a piano lesson and then I had a last ditch rehearsal with whats-her-face. I did talk to Endymion on the phone for about an hour, though, in between drives.
Endymion says I get to be the ring bearer when he gets married. *giggles* Cool. Abby gets to be the flower girl, apparently. ^_^ He also says that he's going to write a fic for me, but I'm not sure if he's really going to do it because I never gave him a pairing or a fandom or anything...
Brenna is writing her first fan fic, though! Took her long enough... We corrupted her into the yaoi-age about four months ago, and she's just now writing her first fic. It's an AU, and so far it's pretty good. I hope she continues it.
Today was my last mandatory flute recital ever! Yay!!! *squeals* I never have to go up all by myself and play a piece of music that I hate in front of a bunch of people I really don't know or care about ever again, unless I want to! ^_^ Isn't that great? My instructor said some really nice things about me afterwards, too. She said I was persistent and that I had improved astronomically since I started playing with her six years ago, and that she was impressed with my work. Happy happy!!! Becca and I played "Tambourin" as our duet piece and I played "Swiss Shepard" as my solo piece. It's not so bad as pieces go, but I would have rather played some Bolling Jazz works or something. *shrug* At least it wasn't Chaminade's Concertino. I hated hated Concertino. Absolutely despised it.
David convinced my dad to get up hooked up to a Comcast Cable modem, just so he could play Starcraft against Andy. So they went out to buy the modem and tried installing it today. It didn't work--which I was rather pleased about. ^_^ We're getting someone to come out and fix it on Thursday, though. Damn.
There was a VH1 special on some random band (Metallica, maybe? I don't remember...) which had Joe Perry and Steve Tyler from Aerosmith talking in it. And I missed it. 0_0 I missed Joe Perry and Steve Tyler. *dies*
*revives*
I forgot to turn in an A-project for Psychology this quarter, so I can only get a B at best. Oh well. I'll probably get my 3.5 anyway (and consequently my new computer!!!), so who cares? I've just got to ace Astronomy and Sociology, which won't be too hard.
That reminds me... Beth, we're doing the creative Astronomy project as our final this year. Y'know, the project where you get to do whatever you want, provided that it's related to something "out of this world," as he put it? Any ideas as to what I could do? I was going to write a star-related story, but decided that I wouldn't do that because I couldn't include my current favorite aspect of the whole "writing" thing--slash. Besides, writing is definitely not my thing, so that wouldn't get me an A on the final... Any ideas? What did you do for it last year?
I have five more days of classes left. That means I've got five band classes, three English and Psychology classes, two Stats, Sociology, and Astonomy classes, and four and a half hours of Aide-work, which means I'll sit around and do nothing. ^_^ Then the finals start. Blech.
And then I graduate. 0_0
Cool.
