Aug. 3rd, 2003 10:22 pmWent school shopping again today. Got a trashcan and a bedspread and some more sheets and lots and lots of paper (it was nine cents a package over at Walmart!) and floppy disks and a desk lamp and a mirror and some pens and other stuff like that. Y'know, the essentials. :P
I also bought a bathrobe with fish on it! *dances* It's a white robe with four or five blue and purple and green fish on it. I love it muchly! Also invested in a new strapless bra, as the last one was painful and bothered me a hell of a lot. I'm confident that this new one will be better...
What else? Oh! Leilla called me today around six and after about ten minutes my mom told me to get off the phone so she could call her sister (my aunt), so I did and told Leilla I'd call her back.
My mother is still on the phone. *growls*
I downloaded two of the four band songs (I already have one of them on CD and the other is comparatively easy) and I'm having the devil of a time trying to make the written music follow the listening music even the slightest bit. That's the bad thing about the flute 2 part: it's a background part. -_- I miss flute 1 where we got to play the lyrics and the melody and stuff... Going down a level is no fun, y'know? (Next year I'm going to actually audition, goddamn it!)
I watched some cheesy chick flick today. *sigh* I need more anime to watch; when I'm settling for awful chick-movies, I know I'm bored. Some of them are okay, granted, but most of them... Blech. The one I was watching was about a racecare driver and her father and the new driver on their team who disapproved of a girl driving in races. It was set in the seventies or something (it looked old) and it wasn't all that good. I'll go to the mall on Wednesday or something, before fencing, and pick up a DVD or two, I guess...
