One week later...
Sep. 8th, 2003 12:52 amI stole Brad's jacket. Well, sort of. He lent it to me around eleven this evening because it was cold out and we were all gonna sit out on the front stoop to talk and I "forgot" to give it back. It's his favorite one, so he's gonna be pissed when he finds out that it's mine now. Whahahaha! I relish the evil-ness!
Brad, Emily, and I went to a party on Friday night. Okay, so technically we went to three. Brad got super-buzzed (I made him promise to only have two drinks, but I didn't want people to keep asking me why I wasn't drinking, so I got half a cup of beer and kept pouring it into his glass whenever his got a little empty, and Emily doesn't like beer--she's a fan of jungle juice--so she was doing the same thing. He must have had three or four cups of that crap before we left that second party) and we made a bet as to who could bum the most cigarettes off of people. I didn't smoke any (I don't smoke or drink, but I love going to the parties), but I got tons more than he did. Ah, the perks of being female. ^_~ I gave them all to him--he smokes when he's drunk. -_-
We went up to Charles Street first, but no one was really there yet, so we all went over to Spring Street (Spring? Yeah, I think that was it) and hung out there for a while. That's where I bummed all the smokes. Once that got too crowded, we went back to the first place. It had picked up a little by then, but apparently the beer wasn't that good (according to Brad) so we started to go to a third place over on Ormand Street. It took us a long time to find it (Brad actually stopped a car in the middle of the road to ask directions; Emily and I spasmed because we realized it was one of the professors at the University), but when we did, we were foiled again. Super-tall bushes surround that entire house. In the end, that was lucky for us. We couldn't figure out how to get in, so we were out there pondering the bushes and a group of guys had been locked out or something (they were so smashed...) and wanted to get back in. So they broke a window. And Brad, Emily, and I looked each other and started running. It only took about five minutes for us to see the first cop car pass. :P
When we got back, I was too exhausted to do anything else, so I slept on the floor of Brad's, Chris', and David's room. Woke up about 7:30 and went downstairs to my own room. Chris never even noticed I was there. *shrugs*
Anyway, yesterday was okay. I did a lot of laundry. Emily, Brad, and I went to main street and rented a DVD (Hot Chick) and went back up to the dorm to watch it. Brad and Emily went out for another party and I stayed behind because I wasn't in the mood to go anywhere. Watched four fire trucks, two ambulances, and a police car drive by within the course of an hour. Apparently something happened over at Edgewood (someone was smoking in the dorm, the smoke alarm went off, and the place flooded) and that's what all the commotion was about... Emily and Brad got back, so we all sat outside with a bunch of people just to talk. That was about it.
Not much happened today. We all went to lunch, Brad went to do laundry, Emily had to finish homework, and I had to catch up on some things. When Emily finished her homework, we met up with Elizabeth over at Sowers and went back to the video place to return the movie. Ended up getting another movie--Head of State--and getting a pizza delivered. We've declared that every Saturday night is going to be movie night--we've already gotten to be good friends with the guy who works at the video store. His name is Jeff and we're going to make sure he recommends a movie for us every week. ^_^
After that, we went off on our separate ways. Then Brad, Chris, David, Emily, Ashly, and I went to Late Night over at the Chesapeake and had nachos and hot cocoa. Yummy! Then we sat out on the steps and talked until ten minutes ago or so. ^_^
What else has been going on? Well... Some of you may remember me crying and complaining about my super-hard Spanish class. I made an appointment with my adviser on Friday afternoon, dropped the class, and added Japanese. So tomorrow I have my first Japanese class! I can't wait!!! ^_^ Also, I'm meeting Emily, Ashly, and Amanda downstairs at eight so we can go to breakfast tomorrow. Then Emily and I are going to the mall at 4 (I think) so she can pick up a birthday card for her grandmother and we'll be back for dinner by 7. Brad, Josh, and Emily want me to do voodoo on somebody and I have no idea why... ^^;;;
