Wooot, I got a pen! *dances*
Yesterday was the high school's homecoming. It wasn't too bad; I saw some of my ex-under-classmen friends (seniors now, for the most part, but one sophomore and one junior) but none of my buddies from my graduating class. Rawr. (Not like I was expecting them to be there; Becca had to hide from her mother and everyone else pretty much hated high school.) I only stayed for part of the game; I left after halftime, since that's what I went there to see in the first place.

Enzman really does have a different marching style than Kunkle. It's amazing. 0_0 The people over in the Glenelg band actually stop moving every once in awhile! It's truly amazing!

Anyway, I chatted with people (Mr. E joked around with me right before halftime: "do you know the routine?" "no, but I bet I could pick it up fairly quick!" "good! suit up!") and got to see Bubbles, who I haven't seen in ages. ^_^ Left after halftime, but the home team was winning 31 to 0 when I left. *shrug*

Came back here and relaxed for a bit. Tried to figure out how to make the crappy thermometer on the side of my fish tank work. Saved one of my snails (they're named Gred and Forge; Andy named them for me) from almost certain death--he crawled out of the tank and was meandering about the outside of the tank. Stupid aquatic snails. (At least this'll teach me to forget to put the lid back on!)

Had mushy spaghetti for dinner (my mother got a new pasta maker and wanted to try it out), but it was really good, mush and all. My grandmother gave me a jar of sweet sandwich pickles. *dances* I love those things!!! ^_^
After dinner, Leilla and I went to the mall! Woot! First thing we did was go to the pet store so I could buy a new optical light unit for the fish tank--it was a real pain to find, but I did get it!!! We cruised around Suncoast and Waldenbooks (neither of them had Fake 3 or Gravitation 2. Grrr) for a bit and went through Hot Topic to see if we could find me a decent pair of bitch boots. We didn't, but I did get a funny look from an old lady who happened to be in the store at the same time we were. I bought Saiyuki 3 (yay for Suncoast!) and she bought the latest Newtype. Hm.

Afterwards, we went to her place and watched bad Gravitation subs until one in the morning. She has Gravi volumes 1 and 2 so I read those and she has volumes 3-7--the original Japanese ones--and let me borrow them. I need to find translations online, apparently. Rawr.

My mother is heckling me about writing a "Thank-you" to my great aunt who sent me a graduation card about two weeks ago. -_- I don't wanna! *pout* And I've still got to write my essay for Composition (due Wednesday) and study for my Concepts test (tomorrow). Rawr.

Grrrr.

A brief excerpt from [livejournal.com profile] pereppi's journal:

I went to the parade and saw [insert my real name here], aka kageotogi . I seriously don't think she knows who I am in real life. She's a friend of a friend's, as well as a sister of a friend's, and just graduated out of my high school last year, plus I've talked with her on Fear the Dark . Other than that, we hardly know each other. During the parade I had the strongest urge to yell out, "Hey [insert my name here again], remember me? That girl who always hung out with Amanda and your brother during B Day lunch?"

Oh, well. She's still cool, in my opinion. ^_^ Yeah, so the parade was pretty cool. I have a few friends in the marching band, so...yeah. I so wanted to go to the game, but none of my friends would come with me, and the one that would was in the band. Damn. I later learned that we beat the opposing team 44-6. GO GLENELG!

Silly you! I know who you are in real life, dear (I didn't for the longest time, though. -_- I am such a dork!). And woot! Go Glenelg!!!
