There's the usual old standby, of course, in which I cannot figure out why the hell the new comics won't upload, and then there's more, which I won't get into... I am oh-so-very tempted to get my web-coding ass in gear and just create my own server for it. Yes, it'll be more work--especially where the archives are concerned--but at least I'll be able to make that one work. Stupid Keenspace. I don't know why I'm getting so confused, either! A lot of people use the thing, so why isn't it working for me? What am I doing wrong?

In other news, Joan was sent home from work today because she was sick. Apparently she's been vomiting out of control... Why she went into work is a mystery, I think, but she blames it on her spotless work ethic. I think it was kind of dumb. Whatever it is, feel free to send her well-wishes by commenting on her livejournal or emailing her, if you know the addy. She's not doing so hot!
Mmm. I had a few candles lit on my desk last night, and eventually I decided to snuff them and put them away so that the wax could harden before I went to bed--one of the candles rests on the headboard, after all, and there are times when I've woken up to see it on the floor. So I snuffed the two litte ones and then the tall one, waited a few minutes, and started putting them away. I must have quirked my wrist funny, though, because the tall one spilled wax... On my shirt, my arm, and my desk, where my keyboard is. Talk about bad luck! Getting the wax off my arm was easy as could be--a lift here and a peel there--but getting it off the desk and keyboard were a lot harder. I used an old credit card to scrape it off the desk and spent about half on hour getting most of it off of the keyboard. I got everything I could, but there's bits between the keys that I haven't been able to get out... Meh. I should probably clean my keyboad soon anyway...
Oi, to make matters worse? It was a black candle, so the wax left a little gray spot on my cream-coloured desk. And on my shirt, I think. Grr. I'm sure they'll both wear off when I wash them down, however... I'm personally just glad that nothing got into Zep's tank! I checked there first, while the wax was still hardening on my arm. Stupid candle wax.
Live Journal has been exceptionally bitchy lately, as I'm sure everyone has noticed. I'd complain, but there's nothing we can do about it anyway, so whatever. ^_^
My parents took me out for sushi yesterday, and it was d-vine. ^_^ I've missed sushi... The rolls were uber-cheap, too! Four, five bucks a pop! Granted, they were very small rolls, but a little sushi goes a looooong way. My father stole some of my delectables, though--one salmon roll and one crab tempura. He'd never had sushi before, but he rather liked it. He did admit that he really preferred the salmon roll. ^^ I would have had him try the place's version of a dynamite roll, but he didn't go for the extra spicey-ness I requested. Boo.
It saddens me that Kyle is not as funny in real life as he is over the Internet. Stupid Kyle and his fun-ness.
