^____^ *pleased with self*
Jan. 21st, 2005 02:10 amSo, my to-do list for today/tomorrow? Totally non-existant! ^____^ All the homework is finished, my room is clean, I've gone shopping, the fishtank is sparkly, and I've written pages up for the Unnamed Comic I'm doing with
gwingangel. (I would write more of Swizzle Stick, too, if [1] I had my SS notebook and [2]
endaemion was caught up with the drawings. ^_~ Just teasing, Endy. Take your time.) Um... Once I hear back from Bb, I'll either be revising the pages I sent her today or I'll be working on pages four and five of the Unnamed Comic (which really does need a name), but, until then, I'm chore-free. Although, really, writing comic scripts isn't all that tasking. ^.^ I think I like writing scripts better than I do writing anything else. It's a shame that I have more inspiration for stories than scripts.
The doors leading out onto our porch from the family room, the garage door leading to the porch, and the bottom window in my parent's bathroom were all replaced today. I woke up at eight when my father decided to dismantle the alarm system on the porch doors with a raging headache, which was not made better by staying in bed for two more hours trying to keep down the lack-of-sleep nausea. Swallowed some Tylenol, had a drink, and then read my book for a while. Shortly after, the window people came and started dismantling the back end of my house. T_T It got very, very cold, what with the huge holes they made. S'nice and toasty now, however... And the new windows look swank. ^_^ In any case, the window people were at the house until a little after six.
For the most part, however, I was not home. My mother and I finally went on that shopping trip we've been putting off since forever. Since neither of us like the new fashions (they look like Easter vomited in a blender and then someone added the pastel Crayola colors no one likes), we didn't get any clothing, but! I ended the trip with Saiyuki Volume 11 on DVD (finally), the third volume of the Saiyuki manga (I've been behind, I tell you!), a new Discworld book, black low-boot shoes, and (this one's the kicker) FISH SOCKS.
*squee*
Okay, so they're ankle socks and they have goldfish on 'em in impossibly small bows and they say "THIS STINKS" in huge black letters, but do I care? No. There are fish on my socks. And that rocks my world. I have two pairs of fish socks now. *_* And a fish necklace, but I've had that since... *ponders* Wow, almost four years now. And a fish sticker on my computer. I need a t-shirt with a fish on it, and then the world will go round again.
My mother is sick now, which is no fun (for anyone, but especially not for her). She did let me make her some tea, though. ^____^ She doesn't usually like it when I make her tea (don't ask why).
...why is my toothbrush on my desk...? Ewwww.
Anyway. Early bedtime-ish for me tonight, because I'm pretty tired. ^.^ I haven't been sleeping well lately, I s'pose.
