'ello, all!
I don't know if I've mentioned
rensstories here or not, but I'm dong it now. *shrug* I was at work earlier this week, bored out of my mind, and laid up for inspiration. I had a blank entry screen open for the community but nothing to put in it... So, on a whim, I decided to be a Semi-Good Samaritan and post some writing advice.
I'm not really a good person for advice or anything, of course, and I don't pretend to be an expert by any means. Most of what I post in public entries are things I've taken off notes from my Creative Fiction classes, or things I've learned over the years. Garnered information. Grammar tips. Helpful links. Stuff like that. ^.^
As of... about five minutes ago, I posted a public entry on Conflict and how it can help or hinder a story. I added up some advice, as well.
So far as I know, the only other public entry in that community, at the moment, is a list of websites that offer up names intended for babies but just as useful for characters. The sites are ranked by my preference, from best to worst.
Um. So, yes. Just pimping out the conflict entry to any writers who think they might find it useful... or for any fellow Creative Fiction students who may have missed that particular lecture. ^_~
