kageotogi: (lemmings! [rageboxalice])
I... have an exam in MD History today that I am so not studying for...!

Anyway, this post is here to remind me of the following: writing center 11-12 Thursday to work with awesome possum student from this morning. She's cool. Do not forget this appointment or will be attacked by rabid gerbils. Rabid gerbils very bad. Have sharp teeth. Thus, do not forget appointment. You Tarzan. Me Ren. That all.

The good news: I finally got my hair cut.
The bad news: they cut it a little too short.
Verdict?: good. Short can grow.

The good news: the computer people came to look at my computer's net connection.
The bad news: they've never seen the problem before and took my tower so that they can shop it.
Verdict?: blah. I want my computer back and I'm starting to feel guilty about stealing Joan's all the time.

The good news: Annie treated Joan and me to sushi!
The bad news: ...dude, it's sushi. There is no bad news.
Verdict?: GOOD.

The good news: Joan and I rocked the house in Japanese today.
The bad news: Joan hit me because I asked Mitomo-sensei the words for all sorts of body parts (including kidney, lung, and brain. Because I knew Kyle would love it if I passed that information along).
Verdict?: good. I bruise is worth the fun.

The good news: I didn't have to study for the MD Hist exam during work today.
The bad news: I should have studied for the MD Hist exam during work today.
Verdict?: bad. The test was somewhat difficult. My essays were half-assed and my IDs were kind of shoddy. I rule at multiple choice, however, and managed to escape more-or-less unscathed after only twenty minutes. (And before the DePantser could talk to me!)

Anyway. Now for another story from The Life of Ren. (For those not in the know, all words in [brackets] were originally spoken in Japanese.)

Mitomo-sensei: Now. I will be the medical doctor and you will be the patient who has something wrong with them. [Catherine-san, I am a doctor. What is wrong with you?]
Me: [Wait, will you repeat that?]
Mitomo-sensei: [I am a doctor. What is wrong with you?]
Me: OH! *ponders* [My... eyelash hurts.]
Mitomo-sensei: *snerk* [Then you will have to cut it off.]
Me: Really?
Mitomo-sensei: Yes. You will die unless you do.
Me: Ohh... [I am dead...]
Mitomo-sensei: I cannot help you. [Joan-san, I am a doctor. What is wrong with you?]

...Joan is going to be so addicted to FF IX that it's not even funny. -_- Although! ^___^ We've done some math and found out that our dream of buying our very own PS2 (...hers, not mine. My family has one. I'm just helping out so that I'll be allowed to use it) is closer to becoming truth than we originally thought! Yaaaay!

I should shower. My hair cut made me itchy. ^.^

A meme. -_-
