Random love to you all.
Jun. 5th, 2005 06:26 pmFor those who were reading back in April when my optical fish mouse stopped working, I am proud and happy to say that I hooked the thing up this afternoon and discovered it was working. (My brother's friend Alex fixed it up for me early in May and remarked that it was "one of the suckiest mouses ever.")
Key word: was.
Four hours later, the mouse button clicky thing has decided to be sluggish and icky again. If it doesn't quit doing that by tonight, I will most certainly be putting the icky ball-mouse back on... and looking for a new optical mouse. *weep*
The brother has gone camping with some friends to celebrate his graduation. This is fine with me as it means I no longer have to compete to use the car. *rawr*
I work tomorrow from five to nine-thirty. This makes me sad. Also: for those of you in the area, said brother has a jazz concert this coming Sunday at six o'clock in Columbia (right across from the mall. Lakefront, I think). If anyone is interested, let me know ASAP so I can get you more information. (I'll be there, too... but I'll be dressed nicely because I'll be coming straight from work. Blah.)
...Despite my better judgement, I am seriously considering buying a Permanent Account on livejournal even though they are freakishly expensive and will make me go broke faster than I should. Any thoughts on this?
Mister Homework Man is calling to me, it seems. Farewell for now, all of you wonderful people!
