So Margie -- one of my coworkers -- called and told me it was very slow at the store today. One person (with a stroller and two bebbies) had come in the whole day. She then told me I did not have to go in to work today if I didn't want to. I briefly considered my options: go or not go?
Yeah. You all can probably figure out what I decided. ^_~
Margie agreed to give me a call should things pick up, but, as it stands, I have the afternoon free to do some homework, catch up on my reading, and be in loads of Red Death-related pain. *pain*
Speaking of which. I woke up this morning at six to massive cramping and nausea, neither of which are entirely new and exciting. I think it's only the second time the Red Death has made me vomit, however, so that was a little unsettling. My mother was awake as well (David is at a Magic Tournament at University of Maryland today and my mother was waking him up for it) and she scolded me and told me I should see a doctor about it all, in case there's anything that can be done to make the Red Death less painful and nasty for poor little me. I declined, per usual, and then went on to whimper in a little ball of pain and nausea. It was quite pathetic, come to think of it.
Advil doesn't work as quickly as it used to. I think I may need to switch pain medications again. -_-
Mrr. While I'm thinking of it.
chromaticism, do you remember last week or so when I asked you to pick up that virus CD for me at the bookstore? ^^ Can I get a status report on that? There's no real rush, honestly, but my boss is paranoid. Yesterday she had me to a manual virus check on all the computers, which wasted a good hour or so of my time. *chu* Thanks for being awesome, Rockstar!
'nyway. I have the day (sort of) off. I should put it to good use. Ta!
