Midnight's drabble.

This, truly, is service at its finest. I complained a little bit about hair pulling and na_no_da_ wrote a drabble about that very subject, simply to appease me (and for the sake of writing, which is equally wonderful).

Anyway, I point those of you who are of legal age toward Pull, by Midnight. It's a 330-word drabble, I believe, and it made me grin.

I finished "Bugged!". *smug* I'm not completely satisfied with it, but it's finished and that's really all that matters right now. I'll type it up and rewrite the parts I don't like when I'm home from work (if I think about it) and probably post it tonight.

I leave for California tomorrow morning. ^^ A girl down the street (who was only as high as my knee when I last saw her but is taller than me, now. Either I shrank or I'm older than I thought I was) has agreed to take care of both the cat and my fish, so my bebbies aren't going to starve or anything. She's a sweetheart, really, and I'm sure she'll do a great job.

Work is still blah, but that's to be expected. Barb (le manager) is taking another one of her "breaks" from the store -- to run errands, get her eyebrows done (I kid you not), and other things along that same line.

Mrr. I think I'll stop by the Waldens Borders Express before I go home so I'll have something to read on the plane aside from The Once and Future King and Rebecca. I love both books, but there's only so many times a girl can read them in one summer, y'know?

Righto. I'm going to pretend I know where things go and start organizing the store now. Ciao!

Bugged. Final post before I depart.

The final chapter of "Bugged!" has been posted. I'm not at all happy with it, but the story is finished now, so it'll have to do. If I feel inspired, I may re-write it while I'm away.
