FFX12 lovings!
Apr. 17th, 2007 10:53 pmOkay. Final Fantasty 12 (hereafter to be referred to as FF12, because I'm lazy and don't want to type out XII all the time).
( When I first heard about the game... )
Before I started the game, I promised myself I would not do two things. For one, I would not -- NOT! -- take over two years to play it, as I did with FFX and FFIX. And for another, I would not cheat.
For those who have never watched me play a video game, I play them as hardcore as I can, and I try to do everything there is to be done. Every sidequest. Every mission. Every secret character, item, or piece of equipment. Oftentimes, this involves using a few websites as a crutch, or using my brothers to play the really really really difficult parts (like the Chocobo race in FFX). To give you an idea of how this works for me, here's an example. In FF12, I'm not even halfway through the game and I've accumulated over sixty hours. I've also learned most of the license board.
( Right now, I'm in the Stilshrine of Miriam, and... (NO SPOILERS, I THINK!) )
Am I the only one in that boat?
(Also? Fran. Seriously. She's my new favorite character, even beating out Balthier, Ashe's attempt at a skirt, and Penelo's pointless suspenders -- all of which I consider characters, oh yes. Fraaaan! And poor Vaan. XD Even his trophy gets made fun of.)
