That depends on two things: where you live and how well your housekeeper does his or her job. When I lived in Annapolis last year, the showers were small, but they were very, very clean, because the housekeeper was awesome. This year, the housekeeper isn't so great, so they're a little more gross. You definitely want to wear shower shoes of some sort (unless you're slyfox78, who does not wear shower shoes because of something I keep forgetting about). So it depends.
