My family celebrates Thanksgiving on Saturday. Today is "Go Visit Grandma" day. And, lucky me, I woke up with a headache. I am uber not happy about that.

[livejournal.com profile] rosethorne, I received the card you sent (like, last week. I just keep forgetting to tell you). It gave me a giggle! Thank you. ^_^

Song Title: Mission Impossible: Remix
Artist: Orbital
Album: Mission Impossible 2
Day: Twenty-two.
Why? Meh. I'm not going to explain this one. I would like to note, though, that I have never seen any of the Mission Impossible movies, and I'm not sure I'm going to. We'll see.

Song Title: Feed Me
Artist: Little Shop of Horrors
Album: Little Shop of Horrors
Day: Twenty-three.
Why? This one seems appropriate for Thanksgiving. ^.^ Um. Also, I like to think of my novel as being akin to Audrey II, our lovely, man-eating plant. Just replace "plant" with "novel" and you've got it. Yep.

Finally, [livejournal.com profile] cynicalsiren tagged me for a meme. Sad. ^.^ But here it is~!

List five songs that you currently love. It doesn't matter what genre they are from, whether they have words, or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying right now. Post these instructions, the artists, and the songs in your blog. Then tag five other Livejournal friends to see what they're listening to.

1. "My World" by Sick Puppies. I don't know what it is about this song, but I really like it. It has just the right amount of angry angst to draw me in, I guess.

2. "Full Opera Mix" from the Fifth Element. I like opera. Real opera, I mean, not just the sort of thing from Bruce Willis movies. This song, though, is probably the best song of the genre to listen to while stuck in traffic.

3. "Je Cours" by Kyo. French pop. It's the sex.

4. "Girls of Summer" by Aerosmith. Yes, yes. You all knew Aerosmith would be here somewhere. Anyway, I like this one a lot right now, mostly because it's cold outside and that makes it very hard to think of bikinis and the like. Thank you, Aerosmith, for recording a song that makes me think of sunny beaches even while I'm braving thirty-some degree temperatures. Also, there is no download for this, as I don't have it on my computer. That's odd.

5. "Masochism Tango" by Tom Lehrer. This song is funny. It has always been funny. I found it in high school, when Brad kept mentioning it for seemingly no reason, and I've kept it close ever since. There's something beautiful about this, which would probably be the worst ever tango to dance to.

No tags, because my head hurts and I don't want anyone mad at me. :P
