Le wordage.

I'm a complete sucker for the written word (something that I'm sure will eventually come back and bite me in the ass), so when I had to buy a new desk calendar for home, I got one of those word-a-day calendars. And yes, as per the cliche, I am trying to use a word a day. So far, I've been doing everything a day late. For instance, yesterday I finally used 'futurity', which was the word for January first, and today I used 'extremophile', which was the word for yesterday.
Some of these words will be easier than others. I flipped through, and one of the words is 'assuage'. Anyone who is unfortunate enough to have read a considerable bit of my writing will know that I use 'assuage' all the fucking time. It was one of my high school vocab words. It was also the one I continuously forgot. Oh, circuity~! ('Circuitous', come to think of it, was another one of my high school vocab words. Hm. Maybe I'm not so bad with vocabulary after all.)
I can't remember what today's word is, but I'm sure I'll use it... tomorrow.
Work is le boring right now. I had six million things to do this morning, and around two o'clock they all sort of disappeared. Mostly because I'm waiting for other people to return my email queries, but whatever. These things happen. Anyway, there's only, what, twelve minutes left until five? Forget that.
