My desktop computer has decided it hates me again. This time I think I know what the problem is, though, so that's something. Essentially, the power button isn't turning the tower on. It used to be that it would just have a delayed start-up, but now it isn't powering on at all. If I'm right, I'd just need to get a replacement power source. (Or I may need to open the case and tighten something. Since the delay has been happening for a while -- but fixed itself at one point, when David was messing with it -- I'm inclined to believe it's the power source, but it's entirely possible it's something even more minor. I'll have to look into that. How do I test a power source? Hm. I'll have to check the interwebs later and see.)
Assuming I decide it's worth dealing with at all. I've had that computer for six years, after all, and I have the laptop. If I can get all my information off and on to the laptop, I may switch over and start using that as my primary computer (rather than the other way around). I've been using the desktop primarily because I hate the touch-pad, but I could always either suck it up or use a mouse.
Then again, I sort of like having a backup computer, and the desktop runs faster than ever since it was wiped a month or so ago. The not turning on thing is currently the only problem I have with it.
Oh, decisions, decisions.
