*cringe* I'm in charge of making dinner tonight, apparently. Argh... Someone in my family must have a death wish of some sort if they're making me cook...

I've planned the menu for tonight! *dances* I'm going to make ham, which should be easy because all I have to do is slice it and pop it in the microwave. The family will also be forced to eat salad, homefries (which I personally can't stand, but they're easy to make), and cheesy biscuits (Red Lobster used to make those... I don't know if they still do or not!). All of the above should be easy enough, right?

Right!

Okey dokey! Now I've just got to cook it all and such without burning down my house! Huzzah!

Kyle ([livejournal.com profile] fish_follower) called me and we talked about practically nothing for a long while. Then the following conversation occured.

Stupid conversation. )

*strangles Kyle* You are such an ass!!!

If you would like to be interviewed by me, follow these steps:

1 - Leave a comment, saying you want to be interviewed.
2 - I will respond; I'll ask you five questions.
3 - You'll update your journal with my five questions, and your five answers.
4 - You'll include this explanation.
5 - You'll ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed.

The questions! )

Boy, I sure am spamming everyone's friends lists today... Many sorries! I'll make for it by not posting at all on the 25. (That's the day I go back to school, so I wouldn't be posting anyway. ^_~)

Anyway, in case anyone was curious, I did end up making dinner tonight. I learned the following:

---While I have set my hair on fire using a toaster oven, not even I can botch up salad.

---Ham is the easiest meat in the world to prepare. This, of course, means that I'm going to be eating a lot more ham in the future. ^^

---When the direction for cheesy biscuits says to use a teaspoon of something, ONLY USE A TEASPOON. This realization is directly related to the next one:

---The use of garlic, which is fun in small amounts, should be strictly regulated. However, should a mishap using said spice occur, mixing in melted butter can sometimes take out a lot of the sharp flavor.
---Baking mix and flour can be used interchangeably.

---You should never, under any circumstances, touch a hot oven. On a similar note, oven mitts should always be worn while taking things out of the oven. *whimpers and nurses her burnt fingers*

That's all. ^_^
On a totally different note, the bratling wormbaby of doom stayed after school for play tryouts today and made callbacks. Huzzah for the wormbaby! Anyway, I read over his script synopsis and burst out laughing. Can you see why?
