endaemion, you may be interested in knowing that I have registered over on Gurabiteshiyon.net. I may never forgive you for pointing the place out to me, but that's quite all right. It's not as bad as I expected it to be. ^_^ It's less of a pimp than ff.net is, at least.
...I truly have become a fic whore, haven't I? *ponders*
Anywho, I've been reading through all of the authors who archive over on Gurabiteshiyon (I'm in the N's right now!) and have noticed that there are a lot of really really really bad gravitation lemons out there. There are also some really really really good stories posted that I could read a thousand times and never stop being entertained. And then there are also a lot of people who make their smut so sweet that it gives me cavities.
I can not say this often enough. Smut should NOT be sweet. Mooshy is okay. Even a little bit fluffy is all right. But it doesn't make any sense to sugar-coat a story where the main point is to fuck someone up the ass!!! *rawr* I'm really not that picky about my fan fiction, but I do have three very general peeves: (1) There's such a thing as spell check. USE IT. (2) I do believe that kids are taught about little things called "paragraphs" when they're learning English. Is it really that hard to make sure you're fic has them? and (3) SPRINKLING SUGAR ON PWP STORIES IS NOT HEALTHY!!!!!

On another note, I plan on changing my lj layout just as soon as I find a good picture to use. I will probably be scouring the web looking for one for the majority of the afternoon...
