In other news, I am in the middle of writing the worst Gravitation ficlet I have ever attempted to write. I mean, it started out all right, but then I got back into my old habit of writing the majority of the story after midnight, when my brain decided it needs to make everything as weird and out-of-character as it possibly can and then things just go a little nuts...

I'm trying to figure out why I had Yuki wreck his apartment in search of Shuichi's cell phone number. -_- And why he would get so mad over something as simple as...

Well, I can't tell you or I'll ruin it. ^^;;; Anyway, I have another few pages to write, but I'll post links to the story as soon as I'm finished with it. Anyone want to raise their hands and volunteer to be this little monster's beta? I'd email T-san about it, but I'm trying to wean myself away from her gradually.

Argh. Maybe I should just try to find a brand new beta...?

A gravi fic (link posted because Kentra claims to be deprived)

This is a very cute--and short--Gravitation fic by bekquai that I decided I wanted to share. It made me go "aw" when I finished, but mostly because I felt bad for Shuichi. And the cigarette thing... I've never heard of that before--can anyone confirm it?

The other fic by this author, Coffee and Painkillers, is also adorable, although not as much so. It's more on the funny as hell side of wonderfulness. Seriously. I laughed harder than I have in quite a long time because of it... The fic is a little predictable, but the laugh-out-loud humor of it definitely makes up for that. Read it, even if you know next to nothing about Gravitation. You won't regret it!

*whimpers* Help?

I need to know everything there is to know about sky-diving, and I need to know it now. *glares at her gravi fic* God damn that stupid stupid stupid Shuichi! Why couldn't he have chosen something like bungee jumping??? At least I know a little bit ABOUT that!!!

*strangles "he who was once her second-favorite gravi character ever and now makes her want to drown rocks for kicks" until he begs for mercy and promises never to piss her off again*

There was a point to this. There really was. And it was this: is there anyone here who knows anything about skydiving aside from the obvious (I questioned fish_follower and he just shrugged and said "well, you'll die if you forget to put on a parachute")? I need to know a little about the lessons, the various methods of sky diving (I know a little about tandem, but that's where my knowledge meter stops), and what it's actually like to do it. Does anyone know about that sort of thing???

Whoever can help me will receive a hearty thank-you and a huggle.

On a completely unrelated note, I just read the worst Mary-Sue fic I've ever seen. *wince* Such things should just... not happen to a wonderful series such as Gravitation.

The State of the Union

See what happens when I'm left idle for too long? My brain turns into potatoes and I start going flipping raving mad over both skydiving and the telephone. I never thought I'd hear myself say this, but... I really need to go back to school. -_-

I'm going to return to my fanfic writing stupor now.
