Dad: You're sick?
Me: I've got a cold.
Dad: ...you've been sick a lot lately.
Me: I have?
Dad: Yeah. Last week you vomited, a couple days ago you had cramps, you vomited again on Sunday, and now this?
Me: ...this is just a cold.
Dad: But what about the rest of those times?
Me: ...my lunch didn't agree with me last week, and on Sunday I woke up too early and my digestive system needed to be shocked awake. That's been happening since I was little.
Dad: Fine, but what about the cramps?
Me: Um...
Mom: *steps in to save me* She's a girl, Tom.
Dad: Huh?
Me: *facepalm* Red Death, Dad.
Dad: *stare*
Me: ...I'm going to make some tea.
*fifteen minutes later*
Dad: OH!
