So here I am, filling out holiday cards at my desk. If Joan notices that I'm filling out a card for someone we both know, she tends to go over, snitch the card, and write her own message. When we got to a certain someone's card...

Joan: I don't know what to say to her. I mean, her life is such shit...
Me: *thinking of witty things to put in someone else's card*
Joan: ... Can we mail her a gun?
Me: WHAT?! No!
Joan: Not with bullets! Like an air gun!
Me: ... *stare*
Joan: She can take out her frustration on her family by shooting them with air pellets!
Me: That would take too many stamps...

In other news, thinking of fun, personal-ish messages to put in everyone's cards is very, very hard. So if you get a shitty message, keep in mind that my hand hurts and my pen just ran out of ink. *rawr* Or, you know... Joan was making me laugh too hard by running around the room shooting imaginary people with an air gun.
