The latest list over at Gurabite makes me cry. Well, one story in particular makes me cry. A whimper to anyone who can guess which one (and it's not hard. They put my name in the summary and mispelled 'forgive'). T_T

I have so much I could say about that story, but I don't want to be a bitch. So I'll just stick with this comment and leave it at that:

If you are referring to another author's work in your story/summary/whatever, DO NOT refer to their work as crap, junk, or any thing of that nature, especially if you are (a) complimenting it or (b) recommending it to someone else!

...my angry penguin does not look angry. Grrr.

No title, What title?

I saw that. And I cringed for you baby. Boy did I ever cringe for you.

*offers much hugs and oreos for consolation*

Eeeyup, that's the one. *sigh* I'm not going to touch that one for fear that I'll end up throwing one of the lab computers out the window. And then I'd have to pay for the replacing of the lab computer *and* the new parts for my computer.

I saw that and snorted, for they are going to be destroyed.

I'm not going to touch it, personally. Destroy at will.

Bitch. That's really mean. I mean, they could have said "in the style of -insert author name here-" or something.

That would have been the better option, yes.

Not a whole lot. The unescapable dispair pretty much killed all manner of thought.

May the 'bloodsucking (usually freshwater) annelid worm' fall into a vast pile of salt, wither and die.

*LOL* Wow, you're much more sadistic than I. I do like that option, though. I can think of some other choice writers I'd like to wither as well, if you can arrange that...

Well the 'bloodsucking (usually freshwater) annelid worm' DID delete her story. ^____^ You know I'm perfectly willing to give any writer very serious, honest criticism at any time. >:D You only have to point the way with a link, you know!

That's such a load of shit. If the author was lucky enough to resemble you, the fic wouldn't suck. Case and point: in-breeding = disturbing results *inserts disclaimer for in-breeding enthusiasts*.

Um. Thanks for the compliment. ^.^ And you're right with the inbreeding thing. It leads one to wonder what would have happened if Hitler's Arya plan had worked out... Loooots of inbreeding, there.

*lol* how true. She got many negative comments for obvious reasons, and I'm glad to see they might have actually gotten through to her since she deleted the fic. *pokes you* How goes S2? You still working on it or have you put in on a high shelf? *whines* Take it doooown, hc, take it dooown.

Dear God! You might want to say something... she just joined the Meet as [livejournal.com profile] un_refined; a totally fitting name *snickers*

I miiiight say something, if pressed enough to do so. For the moment, I'm staying clear. Oh yes. ^.^

Are you going to leave a comment or will you send an email?

Calling your work 'shit' is not appropriate.

Date: 2005-03-01 08:09 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] kageotogi.livejournal.com
For the moment? Neither. I believe she called my work 'junk' and the other author's work 'crap', though. ^.^

Um... I think I'll let it play out a little while longer and see what happens.
