kageotogiI was going to post something important yesterday... *sighs* Wish I could remember what it was... *shrugs* Oh well!
Right... Um... Good news first?
1: I finished my Psychology project two weeks in advance and got it turned in!!! *happy dance*
2: I'm an administrator/moderator on Steven's new thing, anime@fearthedark! Very, very cool. I recommend that people go join immediately. ^_^ Do it. Now.
3: Giles joined GWA as crimson_knight. ^_^ I know more people. Yay!!!
4: wrote a new fic which I'm currently having beta'd. Finally finished something. ^_^
5: Giles may lend me some Gundam Wing episodes--if he remembers. ^_^ I'll finally be able to watch an entire episode of the show, instead of the bits and pieces I was able to catch while it was on Cartoon Network! Dubbs are bad... *shudders* ... but they're better than nothing!
All right, bad news:
1: I have to re-write the murder story I've been working on since I'm very displeased with how it turned out--and some things are just too similar to the current situation, which I'm getting to now...
2: the "serial sniper". (For you ignorant ones, go here for info) He's in my area (Howard County is bordered by PG and is close to Montgomery and all the others) and they still can't catch the guy. The police seem to be inept in doing it. Screw them. I also have distinctly different views about this guy than most people I've talked to do. For example, I don't want him to get the death penalty. I truly have no opinion so far as the death-penalty matter goes normally (as I also have no real opinion so far as the abortion chaos goes, but we won't go into that), but I do believe that it would be better to analyze and give this guy a thorough psychological study before anything happens to him, so we can catch the possible next guy that much sooner. The sniper is not following the standard guidelines for serial killers--he's not operation in the normal way, which makes him that much harder to track down. That's just one thing that I differ in, opinion-wise, and I haven't found much of anyone who agrees with me, except for my psychology teacher.
3: my GWA sig is bugging me. -_- Pathetic, I know.
4: my car isn't working very well. The windsheild wipers spontaneously stopped working while I was driving down 144 and did it again going down 94... I spent a good fifteen minutes on the side of the road, waiting them to come back on so I could see.
5: I hate the rain. -_- It's been raining for two days straight now, which I wouldn't usually care about, but my recently diagnosed Seasonal Affective Disorder seems to be taking effect and the rain is making me all depressed and shit.
6: I want it to rain all day tomorrow because I don't want to go to the band stuff or to the football game--which is still scheduled despite the school being in a lock down all this week.
7: new astronomy project. I'm working on it with Giles, so it won't be too bad, but it's on ancient Stonehenge and I'm not particularly interested in the subject... Besides, I don't see the point.
Right, I think that's all... *sighs* I should probably go update my site now... There's lots of new stuff to add which I haven't gotten around to doing...
