I got out of astronomy to do GEO stuff! I got a lot of people to sign a petition during the lunch shifts!!! Even bish-boy! It was fun. I hung around with Amie and Abby for the majority of it and Leilla and Daryll came around for the last lunch shift--although I did make a weak attempt to shoo Daryll away. *shrug* Consequently, I didn't eat lunch today, but I wasn't really hungry anyway, so it's all good. ^_^
I didn't have to stay after the GEO meeting today to take Matt and Dave home from Jazz, since Dad took the day off and offered to do it on his way home from taking Andy to Burleigh Manor Middle for his GT band thing. Good day.
I've spent it all on the computer.
I should probably do some of my homework or start one of the three projects due soon, but... Bah. I've never been big on doing homework anyway and could probably pull off an A or B in these classes without doing it.
Except maybe Beerman's class. 0_0 That man is scary, but I love his class! And he's not all that bad, honest, just a bit odd. I think he's a great teacher and he has a somewhat fun class, even if it is hard as hell. *sigh*
Fun and interesting thing happened in Psychology yesterday. We had this worksheet and we had to decide which of the five people on there would benefit from seeing a therapist and which one needed it the most and all that. One guy was thought there were Nazi's after him, among other things, and he ended up getting the unanimous "worst!" One of the other guys was "Larry, a gay man, who is living with the man he met in graduate school. He is suffering from great stress and anxiety because he cannot share any personal life with his coworkers. He is a competent employee and worker. Most of his leisure activities are spent with friends who are also homosexual." Three people said he needed to see a shrink just because he wasn't straight--I was about to blow up and rant at them, but Coleman beat me to it! He said something about agreeing with me on most of the points I made and pointed out that being heterosexual didn't make someone "normal." Afterall, there are a lot of messed up people--rapists, pedophiles... The majority of them are het, but are they normal? No!
His mark on my meter or respect has gone up a notch or three, and that's saying something, since he was pretty high up there before.

Before I forget: Stevie, you need to tell me what you want to do about that Count Basie ticket. I got it for you, now what?

Ah. I remember that worksheet. Fortunately, my class was a little more tolerant and agreed that homosexuality in and of itself wasn't shrink-worthy. We thought he might need to seek treatment because of the high anxiety levels, but that's it.

Am glad Coleman verbally kicked their asses. He can be kind of high-and-mighty sometimes, but in the end, he's definitely not that bad ^_^

(Oh, yeah, speaking of Count Basie: You've probably already figured this out, seeing as it's only 26 hours until the event, but I'm not going to be able to go. Too much trouble getting a ride out there, and they're calling for icky weather on Thursday that would mess up my ride back. Sorry -_-)
