Work post -- first of the semester!

I am at work. At the Writing Center. The job I love to bits and pieces.

Except today? It's boring. And I know why it's boring. It's boring because it's still the beginning of the semester, the freshmen haven't gotten their first papers back yet, and we have zero -- count them! -- ZERO appointments. Today I work from eleven to two. Do you know what I'm doing?

I'm frickin' writing fanfic. That's what I'm doing.

Ah, well. I shouldn't complain.

Thanks to tir_synni for posting the FMA scanlation link -- I'll take advantage of that as soon as I get back to the dorm (at five-ish this evening). So I don't lose the link, however, I'm tossing it here. For my own reference and so it doesn't get lost in the realm of the Friend Pages.

Chai tea lattes, smoothie shots, and donuts for breakfast are teh yum. The cafeteria should be closed more often, eh slyfox78 and pereppi? ^_~

I used to work on plot ideas while working, though that was more because I was doing tedious, boring stuff and needed a break before my brain turned to mush.

*lol* No, it doesn't make me feel like a freelance writer. That would be cool, though. ^__^ Nah, it makes me feel like a bum and a freeloader. Which, you know, is better in the long run.
