I'm back from FSU!

Okay, FSU isn't so bad. I'd like it a lot better if they didn't force us to sleep on a rubber mattress (and if the eggs didn't taste like you were eating said mattress), but it's pretty cool other than that. I think it'll be fun.
I met a lot of new people: Brad (aka Cyclops), Chris, Tom, Kris, Danielle, Adrian, BJ, Dick, Nikki, Heather, Barbie, Leslie, Tim, All-star, Ellise, Nevada, Judy, and Nick, to name a few. I mostly hung out with Cyclops, Chris, and Tom, though. Nick is the Jolly Green Giant, except he's not green. He's huge! About seven foot, he says, and he weighs 320. He's a tad intimidating, but he's still nice. Dick would probably beg to differ, though! Dick took Nick's chair at one point so Nick sat on him... Dick doesn't seem to like Nick to much anymore... ^_~
We all stayed up until about three in the morning playing cards. Which reminds me... I need to learn how to play poker before I go to FSU for the fall, and I need to play it well! Kris and All-star were all into strip poker and were trying to get everyone to play. Lucky for me, I wasn't in the room when they started the game!
Smoking was only allowed outside the dorm, which made me very happy, but Ellise wasn't too pleased. Oh well. *shrugs*
Anywho, I took the exams and all the second day: Wednesday. I did pretty good. I got a 5 on the English/Reading placement exam, which is as high as you can get, and a 1 on the Math exam, which is the best score you can get (it only means that you don't have to take any remedial algebra courses--I'm not even going to take math the first semester). I was taking the computer "survey" today and my computer shut itself down in the middle of it, so I'm exempt from that. :P
Um... Lesee. I didn't have a roommate, since she never showed up, but I'm definitely not complaining! The lot of us were staying in Cu. Hall, which meant is was pretty damn hot and the vending machines didn't work, but we lived. I'm pretty happy with the schedule I ended up with (no classes before 10! Hell yes!) and I was invited into the Honors program--an invitation I accepted, since I couldn't take the lc options. The only hitch with my schedule is that I signed up for 17 credit hours--for a good reason, though! Since I took the English Lang/Comp AP test in May, I may not have to take either of two English courses they're offering freshmen this semester (Comp and Lit). In order to drop the Honors English Comp class I signed up for, I have to get a 4 on that exam. If I get a 5 on the AP exam, I don't have to take either of the courses. So I had no problems with anything--except finding my way around... Chris and I got lost on our way back to the dorm. -_- My awesome sense of direction kicks in again!
Well, that's about it! I've got to go and get some sleep now... Sleepy-sleepy!
