First off, here's the Banned Book Icon I made from the Sigma Tau Delta signs, because Lauren and a few other people thought it would be a neat idea. I don't really like how it turned out, but whatever.

In my artsy-fartsy phase, I also made a Gravi-related desktop. Feel free to use it, although I don't know how decent it is. It's only the second or third desktop I've made, so whatever. I can resize it if anyone would like me to do so. Please comment if you decide to snitch it.

In other news, today was the Stephen King book reading. I read from "Quitters, Inc." and everyone who heard it told me I did a good job. Joan picked the story for me and it's great; I'm all for the psychological thrillers, and "Quitters, Inc." was just that. Loved it. ^__^
slyfox78 read "Boogeyman", which I thought was fantastic, and Oak read "The Man Who Loved Flowers", which was bizarre.
Speaking of bizarre, Oak brought over Kung Fu Hustle, which we're currently watching. It's... definitely bizarre. Oh yes. The music is delightful. The movie itself is whacked.
Mrr. I finished writing and editing the Hohenheim!fic I promised
tir_synni, and I will post it probably tomorrow-ish. Or today-ish. It's getting to be about that time. (Hee. Time. It's Daylight Savings -- fall back spring forward!)

Date: 2005-10-30 06:40 pm (UTC)Kung Fu Hustle is a great film. I watched it again last night actually. You should watch Shaolin Soccer and God of Cookery, both by Stephen Chow. They're great as well. I'm sure his othr movies are great also.
