Devoting today to writing didn't quite turn out as planned. *snerk* Like there was any doubt of that. I wrote the five hundred+ words of Aristeia (as I swore I would do), then I did my job hunt... and I've been taking a break ever since. ^.^ I'm eventually going to grab my notebook and finish the draft of Regina's story, but first I should probably finish up what I'm doing here (um, solitaire).

I've been asked a lot of questions today -- more so than usual, I think. I've been asked everything from what I want for dinner to how much writing I've managed to drill out today to the location of my kitten to whether or not I would pick up my brother from school to the details of my phobias to why I have kid's books on my reading list to... Well, lots of different people have asked me lots of different questions. I think the only one that actually caught me off guard, however, was "How did you start beta reading?" ([livejournal.com profile] seradisc, you've got to stop asking me questions to which I don't remember the answers. I love you, but seriously. I can't be bothered to actually remember these things. Pfft. Ask me again when I'm not so drained, okay?)

Yay for questions! Does anyone else have questions for me? XD Maybe I can achieve a world record of "answered the most questions within the span of a day", although I guess it doesn't count if some of those questions were from the internet job forms. "What is your name? How far are you willing to travel? Would you like to fill out this optional form concerning your race, gender, and other things we're not supposed to take into account when giving you a job?"

Mmm. *stretch* I should go do something useful, I suppose. Write or put on socks or something. Yesh.

Yay, you're listening to the song~! And you have to agree with me on the Eiri/Shu bits. No, really. :x I should send you more of Imogen Heap, too. Mrr~

Why you had kid's books on your reading list was totally a valid question, okay? :P

♥~

It was a valid question! I never said it wasn't! XD

YES! It's a very good song, and it was sent to me by [livejournal.com profile] oro. Love this song. *heart* (Also, I'm taking song donations. ^_~ Feel free to send me a song!)

I am sitting on my bed with my wireless keyboard and my kitten in my lap. ^_^

(I think we did, yes...)

Um. I want to work someplace that won't kill me. >.< Because being killed is icky. Ideally, I want to write -- but first I need enough money to be able to sit on my tush all day and do it!

"oh noes!"

I've found retail much better than office-work for freeing the head enough to grant a little creativity -- those cubicles, those lights, those interoffice politics! -- but since retail pays next to nada, am stillllll loooooking.

I just. Was wondering if you had any Brilliant Ideas, is all.

Might I recommend becoming a 3rd World Dictator? Sure, you might have heaps of starving and miserable people - but let's face it - you'll be able to horde all the profit. That and you'll have your own henchpeople!

Having both money and henchpersons will certainly afford you a bit of time to contemplate literature and the crafting of said "art."

You have the best ideas. All I really need, then, are the thugs.
