First off, I think this is a fantastic idea. I found the link via Violent Acres (I know she's a popular topic of debate, so whether you love her or hate her, I don't care; her posts make me smile/grin/chortle wickedly on a fairly regular basis, so I continue to read her. If she's not exactly your idea of a good time, well, no one is asking you to ride the pony) and agree with V on many of the "why it's a good idea" points.

I wonder how hard that would be to orchestrate. Hm. That's perhaps an idea for a later date.

In other, less awesome news, I also quite like this, if only because

domacatrix and I used to have a huge ladybug problem back in college. Also, I think it's only a matter of time before the SciFi channel steals it for one of their original movies. It's actually rather on par with Ice Spiders, Kaw, and Supergator. I've never seen those movies, I'll grant you, but they're rather infamous in their badness (at least around my place of business. Yes, we discuss SciFi movies at work).
