I joined

the_sandsea, a theme community for Final Fantasy XII, and posted a claim on Vaan (because I really only like him because everyone else makes fun of him and, well, I could use the challenge). I've already written one piece and I'm working on another now, so that's pretty cool. It's been a while since I've actually wanted to take on a massive project like this.

In any case, if you're a fan of FFXII, you might want to consider joining. It's going to be a lot of fun, I think, and I'm looking forward to it. If I do this properly, it'll give me more reason to write things that aren't Gravitation. For a change. And it'll give me a break from the Novel From Hell (stupid novel). Win win!

I hung out with

endaemion today, which was nice. I haven't seen her in ages, so I was really glad for the chance to catch up. Hopefully we can do it again sometime in the near future. ♥ I'd like that.

In other news, I've been bugging

infected_wound about collaborating on a doujinshi project with me, and she's consented to give it a try. ^_^ All I have to do is, er, get around to typing up the scripts. >_< I'm so lame. The idea of sitting down just to type is absolutely dreadful, and I don't want to do it. But I should. I have to. Otherwise it'll never get done. Rrgh.

My new digital camera is delicious. As soon as I'm back home, I intend to get everything set up on my computer and start taking pictures for real, instead of just taking them and then deleting them because I'm being silly like that. So, yes. Expect pictures -- ones that aren't as crummy as the ones I've been posting from my cell phone. ^^
