People hear zombie songs and, apparently, think of me. Someone ([livejournal.com profile] thstlenshmrock, I think? This was a while ago, and I'm afraid I can't remember for certain) send me this one, and I wish I had a way to rip the song off the site (or knew how to find a download) because it's brilliant.

Speaking of zombies, has anyone seen Zombie Strippers? I've heard it's one of those movies I have to see, but I'm a little taken aback by (a) the strippers and (b) Jenna Jameson. It's playing in Baltimore somewhere, I assume, since there are posters for it all over Lexington Market, but I'm not sure where -- or if I even want to spend the money on it. Have you seen it? Tell me what you thought. I'd really like to know.

In non-zombie news, I need to start looking at new computers. The one I have (an HP a220n, if anyone is honestly that curious) has been serving me very well since I got it back in the summer of 2003, and I've only ever had to take it into a shop once (to get a fan replaced. This was a few years ago). I love my computer, and I really don't want to get a new one, but it's not as reliable as it once was. This was further realized a few weeks ago when I attempted to start it up and repeatedly received a system error. I eventually wormed through it (thank goodness), but I've been hesitant to turn the computer off ever since -- just in case I can't get through next time. ^^ I did go ahead and back everything up, though, so at least if I can't get in I won't have lost everything.

Anyway, everyone I've spoken to has agreed: I need a new computer. Or at least a new tower (the monitor is still fine, and still in sexy-sexy condition). I've been toying with the idea of getting a laptop, but I'm hesitant to do so. I also want to keep with Windows because (as much as I love Mac) it handles just about everything I throw at it -- and I'm much more familiar with the operating system not to mention my internet provider has told me flat out that it's not compatible with Macs.

So I guess I should start shopping for a new system -- which is the last thing I want to do. If anyone has suggestions or would really, really like to make it easy on me, I'd appreciate it. -_- I'm not looking forward to the computer shopping at all. I understand computers pretty well, but actually reading all the specs makes my brain cry a little. So! If anyone would like to offer computer advice in human-speak, I'd love you for it.

I'm asking a lot of people today, and feel like I should give them something in return. Sadly, I have nothing (except bad Gravi!fic, but I should really stop letting people encourage me away from my original writing).

OH! [livejournal.com profile] infected_wound? Your package came today. You're so incredibly awesome and thank you! The sketches are gorgeous. I want to frame Muu-chan and put her somewhere special. ♥ And the rest... Gyah. I wish I had a fraction of your talent. (Oh, and the discs -- thanks for those, too. ^_~ I haven't had the chance to look at them, but I'm looking forward to it. And while I'm at it? SATC. More yes, please?)

Hello, I was wondering if it would be okay to share a yousendit link with the people on my flist. I really loved the song and I think it might benefit from more exposure. But I would understand if you would prefer me to not do so.

Thanks! And I really do enjoy the song. *^-^*

Oh, please feel free to share it! If you could please credit it to Norm Sherman at Drabblecast, that would be great.
