One of those weekends.

Last night I dreamed I was watching Dancing with the Stars with my mother. Donny Osmond didn't do so well, so she called him up to reassure him that she still loved him and he didn't have anything to worry about because Aaron Carter was totally going to get voted off the island (direct quote) before him. I think this means that the season really needs to end. Or that I should stop talking about DwtS with my mother.

The kittens have their first vet visit tomorrow. They're excited, in that way that means they really don't know they have a vet visit or what a vet is or why they should (or should not) be excited. They also have decided it's more fun to push their water dish all along my kitchen floor (spilling water everywhere) than it is to just drink the water. That's mildly irritating, but workable.

Vet visit aside, it's going to be one of those weekends. You know. The weekends where I'm desperate for a little downtime. And because it's one of those weekends, I'm making a snapshot to-do list.

Because I can.

ToDo: Friday
[x] head to work
[x] print out driving directions for vet
[x] print out driving directions for flute stuff
[x] format the A&E chapters
[x] comprehensive exam?
[x] finish CAF for BRS
[x] have lunch with Brenna
[x] go home
[x] check on the kittehs
[x] go to the grocery store; buy essentials
[x] fire zeh missiles
[x] put groceries away
[-] hook up the scanner
[-] deposit check
[x] balance checkbooks
[x] track phone order
[x] file all home expense reports
[x] read a little
[x] ♥ the kittehs
[x] figure out the newspaper thing
[x] and do the cross-word. Why not?
[x] oh, and do NaNo. Let's hit 13,000
[x] start knitting the baby hat!!
[x] get stool samples (ew ew ew)
[x] get some rest

ToDo: Saturday
[x] get the kittehs ready to go
[x] head to the vet
[x] vet visit!
[x] return home
[x] get the kittehs re-situated
[x] eat something
[-] head to flute choir rehearsal
[-] flutle
[-] go home
[x] check on and ♥ the kittehs
[x] make a cake
[x] make cupcakes
[x] sweep the floors
[x] read a little
[x] spend the rest of this wasted day writing
[x] hit between 15-16k for NaNo
[x] get some sleep

[x] call punctuates; find out how the adoption visit went
[x] eat something
[x] get ready for the concert
[x] pack up the cake and cupcakes
[x] drive to the church
[x] rehearsal
[x] break!

[x] mingle at the reception
[x] drive home

[x] read a little
[x] write a little
[x] do laundry
[x] I'd better not have flute choir rehearsal tonight...
