Apparently this checklist-for-the-week thing is a good idea. I accomplished all but one thing on last week's list, and, really, that's mostly because I wasn't on my computer much this weekend. So it's something I'm going to do again this week, and we'll see how it goes. This week, the deadline is Sunday, May 30.

This week, I will...

[x] ...finish editing through chapter 3 of Aristeia. (finished 5/29)
[x] ...make significant progress on the prayer shawl. (finished 5/30)
[x] ...finish this new batch of page proofs (oy). (finished 5/28)
[x] ...finish the WL F&Gs. (finished 5/28)
[x] ...work on sales planning forms. (finished 5/26)
[x] ...finish the CQs. (finished 5/25)
[x] ...finish the proofing reports. (finished 5/26)
[x] ...submit at least half the C2s & BCC I've queued up. (finished 5/27)
[x] ...pay my bills. (finished 5/24)
[x] ...track down my last water bill and investigate as necessary. (finished 5/24)
[x] ...use at least a third of the stuff in my freezer. (finished 5/27)
[x] ...write something. (finished 5/26)
[x] ...clean out the dresser and reorganize. (finished 5/25)
[x] ...read a book all the way through. (finished 5/29)
[x] ...go to the post office. (finished 5/29)
[x] ...find a way to keep the kittehs out of the plastic bag collection. (finished 5/27)
[x] ...buy groceries. For reals. (finished 5/26)
[x] ...get a library card. (finished 5/29)
[x] ...buy mulch. (finished 5/29)
[x] ...mulch the flowerbeds. (finished 5/30)
[x] ...practice the crochet stuff. (finished 5/30)
[x] ...price out some kitchen tables. (finished 5/25)

Aaaaaaaand that's all for now. I'll probably add things throughout the week, as I figure out what still needs doing.

Unrelated, I got a little bit of my geek on this weekend. I had breakfast(brunch?) with A and we went to the comic book store, where she desperately sought out the boys from the Big Bang Theory (we did not see their east-coast equivalents, though, which is good because she'd probably have peed herself if we had), and then we watched X-files (which I'd never seen before, if you can believe that) and Star Trek II. Because nothing makes a Saturday quite like William Shatner's infamous "Khaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!".

Never seen the X-Files? As in some episodes or as in the movie?

Either. I've now officially seen (I think) three episodes. The pilot, of course, and one where there was a giant hallucinogenic mushroom thing, and another where they were living in Stepford and posing as husband and wife. I think that's it.

What happened to the kitchen table we helped your parents with?

It was broke-ass, apparently. I had to return it. However, thank you (and Michael!) for helping them bring it in. I also thoroughly enjoyed your note, and have left it on the wipe-board. :)
