Fact: I have very long hair. The last time I measured it, it was well over a foot long. That was over a year ago.

Fact: The very long hair is driving me crazy. I like having long hair, but hair this long just gets in the way. And I'm sick of it.

Fact: Locks for Love (♥) accepts hair donations of at least ten inches. I have well over ten inches of hair, and I'd be more than willing to part with it.

Fact: Locks for Love (♥) does not accept hair that has been bleached. Coloured hair is fine, but bleaching apparently messes things up. Yes, this research is totally how I spent my lunch break.

Fact: The first 8-10 inches of my hair is bleached. Ten inches above that would give me a very short pixie-ish cut.

Sad fact: I will not be donating my hair to Locks for Love (♥). However, I will be getting my hair cut (I hope) in the near future. Perhaps when I get my hair cut next after that, I will have enough un-bleached hair that I'll feel comfortable donating it. As it is, I am a sad fishie.

Poor fishie.

I wouldn't turn it down. I have someone back in my parents' area, but her daughter is getting married, so she's bogged down with wedding plans. Plus, I should really find someone in the city. >_> What's the pricing? Where is it?

Neal's Salon on Park Ave., just a couple blocks up from me. A cut is around $40 (plus they have a new customer coupon on their webpage, which I didn't know about then, but you could save $10). I had Ed work on my hair the last time I had a cut, and it was glorious. He did exactly what I wanted and was really gentle and didn't try to force any wacky ideas on me. (I've had bad luck with that in the past, ick!)

I met Neal, too, and he seemed great as well, so perhaps if you couldn't get Ed, Neal would be a good option.

Sounds fabulous. I could visit you and get my hair done! And you could come with me (so I don't get lost -- you know me) and we'd have a super-happy fun time. Then we'll cry over the lack of free ice cream (!), be shocked over my sudden lack of hair, and do something fun. Like flute duets. Or writing. Or walking around and having fun.

How does that sound? ^_~

All of that sounds absolutely lovely! Perhaps while you're having an attack of a sudden lack of hair, I could get a deep conditioning treatment or a pedicure or something. We could be all girly and salony. And then do something else fun! Have you been to City Cafe yet? That's always a fun option. :)

I haven't! It sounds like a plan.

We should have a girlie day. Brows, hair, etcetera. It'll be fantastic. And then we'll go look at guys, and you'll have to defer them all to me, since you're taken and whatnot. ^_~

When (before June 18th) might you be free?
